Have you always wanted to learn music with your child? The Hong Kong Suzuki Music Institute believes that Every Child Can learn music easily when taught in a positive social environment including their peers, their teachers, and most importantly, their parents! We have a three-step program from infants through school age so your child and family can be involved in music at every step! The director, Dr. Evelyn Osborne has been teaching violin for over 20 years and has given workshops internationally. STEP 1: Twinkle Toes:Infant/Toddler Music (0-3) - a general music class full of movement and singing! STEP 2: Twinkle Fingers: Pre-Instrument Music (2.5-4) - a fun class with movement, singing, and games to ready your child for formal music lessons STEP 3: Twinkling Stars: Violin Program (3.5+): A semi-private lesson and a group class per week with lots of time to learn from the teacher directly and by observing other students. Parents attend all lessons and learn to coach their child at home. Parents also learn to play at least up to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." We are located close to HKU MTR Exit B2 near Kennedy Town.

Juan Carmona
Violin Lessons
Juan Carmona is a vibrant and versatile violinist, tutor and orchestral player. He holds a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance (MMus) from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music (London). He studied violin with John Crawford and Mayumi Fujikawa, and conducting with Jonathan Tilbrook. Previously, he completed his Bachelor Degree in Spain under the tutelage of the world-renowned pedagogue Olga Vilkomirskaia, pupil of the legendary David Oistrakh. During this time he also received coaching and masterclasses from many international world-renowned musicians. As an orchestra player, Juan has been performing actively in several countries like England, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Japan and Hong Kong, been a member of different orchestras such as Hong Kong City Chamber. Moreover he regularly collaborates with of some international orchestras in Europe. He has performed in many famous venues around the world including National Auditorium of Music of Spain, Radiogebäude in Bratislava, Guione Teatre in Rome, Teatro Liceo in Barcelona, Cadogan Hall and Royal Festival Hall in London, and Hong Kong City Hall and Cultural Centre, to name a few. French Horn Lessons
A Graduate of the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music, Todor Popstoyanov’s professional career began at the age of 21 when he joined the Spanish Royal Opera House, a position he was offered by Maestro Lorin Maazel. Currently Todor is a member of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also collaborated with orchestras from the USA, Europe and Asia, including Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, Komische Opera Berlin, Barcelona Symphony, New World Symphony, Malaysian Philharmonic, KBS Symphony, among others. Major conductors he has worked extensively with are Zubin Mehta, Christoph Eschenbach, Velery Gergier, Lorin Maazel, Jaap van Zweden. Todor is also an avid chamber musician and solo performer having won several prizes, of which highlights are The Yamaha Performing Artists Competition, International Horn Society Competition, Barry Tuckwell Scholarship, Bramhall Concerto Competition. A native of Bulgaria, he began playing the piano at 5 and the horn at age 9. His most influential teachers are his mother, Kurt Snyder and Jerome Ashby of the New York Philharmonic. Teaching experience includes 14+ years of students of all levels. Recent teaching achievements include student's First Prize award at the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association Competition. Jiali Li, the co-principal violist of HongKong Philharmonic orchestra; Student of Grammy award violist Kim Kashkashian. Jiali was the principal violist of New World Symphony in the US. She also worked with st.Louis symphony orchestra and Boston symphony orchestra. For the last two years, Jiali has invited to perform in the most renowned music festival Verbier music Festival in Switzerland and also toured with the chamber orchestra around the world. Jiali finished her graduated diploma from New England Conservatory where she studied with Kim Kashkashian. Also, she attended her undergraduate at The Juilliard School with full scholarship under the class of Paul Neubauer.
